Fella grossed out by cm

So me and my bf and ttc, and when my cm is the most fertile, I kinda gotta keep to myself cause if I say that my cervical mucus is the most fertile and we NEED to have sex it totally puts him of a little, I mean, the word "mucus" and I totally understand cause it is a bit of a gross word but come on, I'm not gonna get pregnant any other way! Are any of your bfs like this??
