Prenatal where you live?

I live in Canada, Nova Scotia and here we don't get prenatal till 10-12 weeks, no early ultrasounds or HCG testing. And I'm one to panic over everything. I just wish i could have something done to prove to myself that there is a baby in there besides a home pregnancy test. I'm 7 weeks 2 days. Anyone else in this boat?

I totally understand what you are going through.  I am seeing a midwife who doesn't really do any screening or tests until 10 weeks.  I feel good most of the time and don't have morning sickness so it feels sometimes like I need proof that I really am pregnant!  Although the fact that none of my regular pants fit at all without an extra rubber band or a belly band you think would be enough...  I guess I will feel best when I have an ultrasound to look at.

I live in Vancover, BC. Got my first appointment at 7 weeks, ultrasound at 8 weeks. She also ordered hcg tests for me because I was measuring behind. Maybe check with another doctor?

I live in the US but I buy my own prenatals. You can get them online, I order mine from Amazon.

I live in Canada too. Alberta. I got hcg blood test at 5 weeks and then asked my doctor to send me for an ultrasound after the results. I get my first ultrasound done today. Im 8 weeks 3 days. Ask your doctor or switch to another doctor. You could also pay and get a private one if you really dont want to wait.
