Echo on heartbeat?

Hi girls,

I had my 35 week midwife appointment yesterday and when finding the heart beat they were picking up an echo, so the midwife changed machine and did it again and was still picking up the echo, she seemed a bit concerned but she said she would check again next week, should I be worried? I feel a bit confused

For sure sometimes it's the placenta.  Usually they know what that sounds like so they wouldn't be worried - a whooshing sound. They'll let you know their findings when they do it again. Could be a heart murmur. But with how fast things grow and change in the womb then there isn't  need to worry, it could easily change.

It's usually the placenta beating or yours that you hear. I mean if she was concerned then I've no idea but that's usually what it is x
