Bad contractions but not dilating! Why ????

Been having prodromal labor & IU throughout this pregnancy; such a pain in the ass. I'm not dilating either, just effacing and some funneling. It sets me on edge having painful regular contractions and not knowing if it's the real deal yet or not! Best of luck to you, hopefully this will ease.

Im having the same issue well have been. Had my first set at 26 weeks. They had to give me a shot to stop the contractions. Then they gave me a pill to take if it happened again. I had them again at 32 weeks went to l&d they stopped them again. And then again at 34 weeks. They put me on leave and told me to take it easy to try and get to atleast 37 weeks. It's no fun but def want to make sure my lil man is healthy and ready. Good luck to you hope they can help you.
