Co-Ed baby shower?

Question

Anyone else planning one? I want my hubby there because 
A) he's my best friend 
B) he gets just as excited about gifts for our daughter as I do
C) I have anxiety and he always helps keep me calm around large groups of people.

Yes! It was extremely important to me that my husband was included as well. My friend that's planning it kept telling me that it was all about me and I had to set her straight. My husband was just as much apart of creating this baby as I was and I want him to feel celebrated as well. My husband will refer to the shower as "his shower" to his friends not my wife's baby shower or our baby shower but his baby shower, it's too funny. Lol. We're doing a backyard BBQ style shower so it's very causal so everyone will feel comfortable, guys, girls, and families with children.

We are doing coed too. I wanted to include my husband in the celebration. And I didn't enjoy my wedding showers that were women only as much as our engagement party that included everyone. Plus we wanted to include our Dads as well. This is my Dad's first grandchild, so he is super excited!

I love the idea of having my husband there for these exact reasons. But another one that's important for me is he has a big family and more friends that could come. A bigger celebration!

Even if it's not "co-Ed" my husband was going to be in attendance cause it's his child too. We ended up inviting guys too cause they're our friends

We didn't consider anything else! We had one with my family, out of town already. Was I not supposed to invite my brother or dad?

Basically our baby shower here is a big bash. There should be over a hundred people there! We are in our 40s and have tons of friends...we just love to celebrate and everyone is so excited to help us.

Yes we are inviting ladies, gents, and kids. It will be a casual outdoor brunch & BBQ with no silly shower games and no gift-opening time (we've asked for no gifts please). We had a co-ed wedding shower too. I want my husband there, and all our friends and family. I figure, as long as it is a fun event, men won't dread going!

We did joint and I looooved sharing  the day with him celebrating our baby girl!
