I recently found out im pregnant, My boyfriends 22 im 17.. we have been together for a year my parents absolutly adore him but we live in california where the age of consent is 18 can he get prosecuted even though my parents are okay with our relationship or should we find a lawyer ? 😓

I looked into California's laws and there is no Romeo and Juliet, the only exception is marriage.

Check Romeo and Juliet laws. Different states have different rules, but they might work for your circumstances (: here in Florida consent is 18, but because of Romeo and Juliet laws, you can consent at 16-17 if they're under 24!
