Mamaroo swing anyone???

Question

Having 2nd thoughts, ive read that they suck and im really considering getting a glider swing instead.  Anyone have one? I know they look cool but i dont want to have a swing that i paid $300 for and it not work awesome. Any insight would be awesome and any suggestions would be cool. Please add pics so i can see what it is your talking about. I had the basic swings with my other kids and the motor always stopped working...

My friend is offering to give me hers because her baby hated it. I figured I'd give it a shot because it's free, but I wouldn't buy one since over heard not all babies are fans

My second son preferred the swing to mamaroo.   It was a gift from my sister.  My boys are rough and tough - guess they liked to faster swinging movements.

After I was done with it, my sister used it and her son liked it. You really never know what babies will like.

Bought one for 100 gently used so if baby doesn't like it it won't feel like too much of a loss.

I bought one off a Facebook swap and shop because I didn't think it was worth full price especially if my baby doesn't end up liking it.

I found a MamaRoo at Once Upon a Child (a second hand store in the Pittsburgh, Pa area) for $125. A friend of mine had premie twins that spent months in the Nicu. They had mamaroo's for the babies there, and she said they absolutely loved them.

They suck I bought one and tried it with 6 different babies and all hated it on all settings. If you buy one buy it second hand cheap 😒 not worth it in my opinion they all liked normal swings better
