Mamas that BF -When did your LO start sleeping through the night? How did you do it?

His doc said he should be by 2 months. Is there anything I can do now to help him adjust to sleeping more at night? I'm so tired. I want to sleep in bed with my husband but baby prefers on my chest in living room. It makes me nervous having him on my chest. I want him to sleep in his bassinet next

My guy also use to prefer my chest to his bassinet but I wasn't sleeping. I was so nervous about it not being safe I would stay awake.

We started swaddling him after his last nightly feeding and putting him in his bassinet. If he was fussy after swaddling we did the other Ss until he relaxed. Now at almost 3w (and greater than his birth weight) he will sleep at a 6hr and then 4hr interval.

My first slept through the night at a week old :( which if I had known then was a no no might have kept my milk supply up. My daughter "wakes up" twice a night to eat, generally about an hour after I lay down and then around 430. But she's only up for 6-10 mins each time to eat (she's almost 7 weeks.) It really depends on your baby, my friend's son is over a year and still wales up once through the night to eat

My first didn't sleep through the night until I stopped breastfeeding at 11 months.

My youngest is currently 9 weeks and still wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat through the night.

Mine was the same way. I've found that if I swaddle my LO and put her in the rocker/sleeper then she will sleep without being held on my chest.
