Did your baby move a lot right before you went into labor?

My baby has been super active the last two days, stretching a lot, and just squirming in general. I'm hoping this is a sign that he/she will be arriving soon. I'm 38 weeks, lost my mucous plug, 2 cm, and 75% effaced. I'm just wondering if others noticed an increase in activity right before the baby came.
