So I've been having such bad problems with my mirena... Though it is very effective and helpful, my time of the month is KILLER. Previous to mirena I was on the depo shot and didn't get my period much, was effective as well. I liked that one but just decided to switch it up. I've had the mirena for about a year and a half now and it's nothing but pain and extreme blood on my period.. Doctors said everything was normal but I really don't think so. My periods last legit 10-15 days depending on the month, I have horrible cramps, headaches and it makes me extremely moody. Thinking of getting it it or switching to another birth control. Does it hurt coming out? Anyone else have this problem??
