When did you ladies first get your cervix checked? I'm 29 weeks and started my two week appointments already this is my third but I don't remember my doctor checking me until 34 weeks with my daughters but that was 4 and 5 years ago. My friend just had her baby and she said they checked her at 28 weeks 🙄🙄🙄

Mine starts at 36 weeks, same time my weekly appts begin.

Put it off as long as you can. 36 weeks is pretty standard. I convinced them to wait until 38 weeks to check with my first since I wasn't contracting at all. Baby wasn't born until 40w3d.

My doctor says she starts checking weekly at 35 weeks

Usually not until 36 weeks unless there is reason for it before then. Abnormal amount of discharge, leaking fluid, blood, or high rate of contractions may have a doctor checking sooner.

Mine said they won't be checking until 36-37 or possibly not until about due,  just depends how everything has been going..  Not sure why they would need to check so early at 28.. I'm 29weeks now,  will be 30 my next appointment.
