Any experiences with natural miscarriage?

I have a D&C scheduled for next week but I feel like it might happen sooner. Have any of you miscarried naturally? How bad was the pain? I was only 8 weeks when we found out that our baby stopped growing at 6 weeks and no longer had a heartbeat. Very nervous it's going to happen before my appointment.

My 1st miscarriage was naturally. I was 8 weeks. I started spotting around 830pm by 130 am I woke up in a lot of pain. I was bleeding very heavy. I bled the 1st fee days and passed clots around the 4th day. I am currently going through another miscarriage. 7 weeks this time. Started the 6th bleeding heavy. Passed a lot of big clots. After the 1st day it's been fluctuating between medium and light. I'm still currently bleeding. My hcg levels aren't going down so now my obgyn thinks it may have been an ectopic pregnancy. I haven't had any symptoms of it plus the same obgyn confirmed that it wasn't when I was 5 weeks 6 days. This time cramping isn't too bad although I swear I had contractions off and on for 4 days straight.

I miscarried naturally in January. I was actually in the middle of getting my hair done and when the lady left I went to go pee. I felt like maybe I had a lot of discharge in my underwear so I grabbed new ones before going to the bathroom when I sat down I noticed blood all over my underwear I called my boyfriend and told him he needed to get the fuck to the house ASAP I needed his truck to go to the hospital and he could hitch a ride with his friend to class. I was at the ER for 5 hours. I cried the whole time the doctors were very nice. The gentleman who took my blood did everything in his power to make me smile and laugh through the tears. They did a sonagram on me to check and make sure my ovaries were ok. About 2 hours into it I started cramping a little and the amount of blood only got worse. I used 2 heavy pads to try and not let it seep through my gown. Once they took my blood again they came and gave me my results that I was currently having a miscarriage and the bleeding should stop sometime soon. When I went home I changed my pad and saw the clump that was the tissue of cells of the baby at 6 weeks. I didn't handle it well so I actually got drunker then an old Irishman and my boyfriend held me while I fell asleep.

I had two weeks of back and forth between my regular family doctor and the emerg Doctor that I seen for spotting to google everything about miscarriages. I was terrified and after waiting for what seemed like an eternity it finally happened naturally. It sounds cold but I was mostly just relieved to know what was actually happening. I was 10 weeks only measuring 6 and I had been spotting for a few weeks. I had mild cramping that would wake me up through the night for 3 nights and by the morning it would subside. The next morning at work it happened. I had very little pain and It was all over within an hour. By the next day the bleeding had almost stopped and was light for about a week. It was the opposite of everything I read online, just wanted to give my two cents. I'm not sure if my experience is rare or if people are more likely to post about it to help with traumatic experiences. Either way I hope this helps. I've never posted here or really told anyone besides my husband and the 2 people in my life that knew I was pregnant, good luck with everything.

I miscarried naturally in June. I started off with mild cramps. Then the cramping stopped for a week but stil light to heavy bleeding. The day I passed the sac the cramps were slightly more than mild and then tapered off the next day. As traumatic as it was (and sad), it wasn't as bad physically as I had been led to believe.

I miscarried naturally a few days ago. I'm still bleeding a tiny bit. I actually didn't have much pain, just very mild period-like cramps that only lasted 10-15 minutes.  There was tissue/clots when I went to the bathroom.   I was 5 weeks pregnant. I'm now waiting for the bleeding to stop so we can try again.

I miscarried naturally 8 days ago. I spotted for a few days and had cramps for a few days before. The day of it got real intense real fast.  I ended up at the hospital for 11 hours because I was basically in labor. The nurses kept saying "you're in labor!" I have never experienced pain like that. Extremely intense cramps that I couldn't even talk through. Also I bled an insane amount. But, I felt much better being at the hospital during it in case anything happened. I think I had such a bad experience because the "products of conception" were stuck in my cervix and my midwife had to pull everything out. It sucked but I felt totally normal the next day. I'm still having some brown spotting but my midwife gave us the all clear to have sex again. I was 13 weeks but only measuring 6.

I had 2 naturally and i had about 10 days of bleeding and both got infected but cleared up on their own. I would hate the thought of doctors removing my dead baby unless it was absolutely necessary. Even with infections, i dont regret doing it naturally. It got to go through it and grieve on my own pace.

I read horror stories of natural miscarriage and was absolutely terrified for it to start, but it was truly not that bad (physically) for me. I was supposed to be 8 weeks, but only measuring 6.5 and bleeding without cramps for about 5 days before.  When the cramps started they came on quickly. It was a mini-labor with the cramps coming in waves,  just like contractions, but as soon as they got to be unbearable I passed the sac and they subsided instantly. The entire "labor" lasted about an hour and a half. I'm still bleeding 9 days later, but no pain since the event. I'm happy I was able to do it naturally, as it gave me a real sense of closure once it was done. Good luck to you....I hope your next pregnancy is happy and healthy!

I miscarried naturally I think I was 5-6 weeks. I started spotting one night the next morning I was bleeding more and cramping I called ob and went in and she told me what was happening I just continued to bleed for a few days and didn't need a d&c

I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. No heart beat detected and baby measured 8 weeks. I started losing naturally the day after ultrasound/diagnosis. The first day the the bleeding was light and cramps were manageable with home pain relief. By the next day the pain was unbearable... It was like having contractions every minute or so. I couldn't even stand...I was taken to hospital by ambulance and given strong pain relief and they helped remove some of the gestational sac etc. (not a d &c.) This immediately relieved my pain to a manageable level and the rest of the week was bleeding with light cramps. Then about 20 days later I had painful cramps and another week of bleeding.  The doctor said it wasn't AF, but couldn't tell me why I was bleeding again. They then checked to make sure nothing was left behind and it was all clear. It wasn't a pleasant experience sorry and I too wasn't fore warned about how painful it would be, which made me very concerned at the time.
