Any experience with membrane sweep/stretching?

My doctor just did one on me. She said it's basically stretching the cervix! It actually didn't hurt at all but I was wondering what I should be expecting now as I wait😎

I had the Dr try that on me last week, I lost my mucus plug a couple days later. They tried a 2nd sweep 2 days ago and I had slight cramping but that's it. Still not dilated, I'm not even having BH contractions! This baby doesn't want to come out! 😝

After mine the 1st time I lost my mucus plug two days later. After the 2nd sweep I had bloody show and lots of cramping for 3 days but still no baby. I will be having it done again Monday if my little one doesn't make his appearance this weekend. Hoping you have better luck with it then me!

Well I got one at my 40 week appointment it was uncomfortable. But nothing happened I only bled that's about it. Dr said she managed to get one fingertip in that's it. So i'll be getting induced tomorrow.

I have way too many nerves in my cervix! I will not be doing that again! Im shocked at everyone saying it wasn't a big deal and I've given birth natural, no drugs. It's not that painful but I screamed. I had cramping and bloody discharge until the next day. No labor but I'm slowly losing my mucus plug now. Today is my due date 😫. Had mine done Tuesday, was checked Thursday and was still a 1!!! And here I sit Friday.....
