Pregnancy with Mirena IUD?

I'm 8 days late and have had my Mirena for a year and a half, has anyone ever gotten pregnant with the Mirena? Husband said if I don't start in another week to take pregnancy test.. I know that a lot of complications can come of this so just wanting others experiences or thoughts

I'd take a test now, and then another if it doesn't come in a week. Just because ectopic pregnancies are a mess.

I have the paragaurd iud, and last month I was 14-15 days late. Has lots to do with stress. Could be many causes though.

I've had my Mirena IUD in for 2 years now. My last period was January 2015. Mirena is known for lessening or stopping periods altogether. It's in the FAQ section on their website.

If you are really not sure take a pregnancy test and use a condom when you have sex, or talk to your OBGYN. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
