Should I be made to feel guilty?!

Okay, so recently a friend of mine posted to her Facebook about how she's homeschooling her children because this world is just too dark and terrible for her kids to be a part of, especially with the rise of transgender acceptance.

Now, I'm a very firm believer. I love Jesus with all of my heart, and I also love and accept all of His children. And I show no hatred for those who are trans, or gay! In fact on of my closest friends is a gay man.

I don't plan on homeschooling my kiddo, at all. And I don't want to feel guilty for that! I plan on raising her up the way I was raised. To love Jesus, and love others! So why do I feel like this? 😟

Some people can speculate why you feel like that. It's confusing when something makes you feel horrible and yet you don't truly know why. I know that I'm like you! I love everyone no matter what. I may go through bouts when I get mad at someone and may feel like I hate them at that time but I pray and get past it. We all have those times. Now as far as feeling guilty.

We as humans want to be accepted and our choices approved or accepted by people we love and that doesn't happen a lot. Everyone has different opinions and the like. And that's the awesomeness of humans. We all have different opinions and it can be beautiful!

Don't feel guilty for how you choose to do anything. This is your life and your families life. Raise your kids as best you can and just keep learning from life experiences and adjusting when you learn new things!!

The Holy Spirit reveals itself through your conscience if you are feeling guilty maybe you should reconsider... it is great to have fellowship through other christians but make sure to bring this to God and obey Him over all! I personally believe Gods word tells mothers to educate their children. Dont be quick to shut God out but taking advuce from others!

I don't think you should feel guilty at all. I could have written this post, that's how much our views are the same. It's not our place to judge. We know, obviously what is "right and wrong" in God's eyes but we are here to be examples of His love, and to teach our children to do the same. Not that homeschooling is the wrong way to go. Whatever your preference is as a parent! But don't feel guilty for wanting to send your kids to school. Of course we'll always be worried of what they'll be exposed to in the real world, but trying to control that will only drive you crazy. We have to trust God that He'll protect our kids, their vulnerabilities, and trust our kids to make good decisions! 😊
