What is the gynocologist actually like?

I freakin love my Gyno. She's amazing. I was terrified to go at first, but pregnancy gave me no choice.

Your first pap is awkward, but not as bad as people say! Basically you change into a gown, and the doctor asks you questions about your health history, and then uses like a duck bill type instrument and inserts it into your vagina, and does a quick swab, and done. Then he/she will do a breast exam. And talk a little more, and done! I was blessed with the best Gyno on the planet I think. She's so nice, and so encouraging. Hopefully you'll have a nice one too! Don't stress!!

Not really that scary, especially if your gyno is accepting, open and conversational, and not condescending towards your sex decisions. My gyno actually delivered me when I was born 😂 she's more like a women's health guru to me than just a scary doctor that pokes around your kitty in latex gloves hahaha. If you feel like you can speak honestly and comfortably with him/her, the actual exam won't be scary at all
