Implant or pill?

Question

I've been thinking about getting started on birth control and I really love the idea of the implant but I feel like I've heard better things about the pill. Which do you guys recommend?
EDIT: implant meaning the arm implant.

I got pregnant on the pill at 18 after taking in consistently for years, at the same time each day without ever missing a day.
Afterwards I got the implant and have had it in for 1.5 years so far.
Messed up my periods for the first couple months but now I'm back on a normal cycle and have had no other issues ☺️

My cousin actually got pregnant while she had a mirena but of course lost it. Was very little hcg hormone though.
