Will you kiss your kids on the mouth?

I grew up in a forehead and cheek kissing household. I also think adult mouths travel too many places.

I kissed my kids all the time when they were babies. Other people's kids no. But now my oldest son is 17 he kisses me on the lips still he doesn't care if he's getting ready to leave with the varsity football team he loves his momma! Lol. My 15 year old son not so much. I can't even get him to give me a hug in public. My 6 year old daughter always kisses me and tells me she loves me constantly

Can babies get cold sores?

I did some research and although I don't get cold sores people who carry the virus even if they aren having an out break can give it to babies. I'm not a paranoid momma but it was something cautioned against by the docs. Just google "why you shouldn't kiss your baby on the mouth"

I kiss my babies in the mouth i breastfeed I feel like hell I gave birth to him y can't I kiss him on his little lips I think they are so cute when they make the o lol I also grew up on kissing bumps with u let ppl kids ur baby on the face it causes irritation to the skin. So it's not like I'm just kissing away he gets his lips wiped before and after feeding

I never kissed my daughter on the mouth when she was a baby... She always had her mouth wide open for kisses lol. But she's 3 now and kisses me on the lips all the time. It's normal for us.

We do with our boys and will with our baby girl. At some point it will stop. But for now is is precious.
