Anyone heard of using birth control pills to get pregnant?

My sister in law told me to use birth control pills for three months and then just stop. They tried for a year and did this and it worked. What you think?

Hmmm. I don't know. Some people have troubles conceiving after BC. I guess it would just depend on your body

It's a very outdated method. The idea is that it resets your cycle but it doesn't always work out that way. If you're already ovulating regularly you're just wasting perfectly good cycles to try. If you have underlying issues with hormones or similar then there are other medical approaches that have better results.

I told my best friend to do that. My last relationship we had unprotected sex for years and I didn’t get pregnant, I went on birth control and ended up getting off cause I have bad side effects and the month after got pregnant.
