how long did you wait?

I know they tell you to wait till after your 6w appt before having sex. Just curious how long YOU waited after a VAGINAL birth.

5weeks. Felt great and I had a minor tear after an all natural vaginal birth.

Sex was the last thing on my mind, even 6 weeks later. And with my first and third, once I did have sex, it took months before it was enjoyable again.

My doc does 4 week pp checks, not 6. I had a vaginal delivery with both kids. First time second degree tear, second time first degree tear. Both times I was healed and cleared at 4 weeks.

5 weeks :) it was not painful at all but I did not feel as tight down there :(

I waited until 7 or 8 weeks but that's because my stitches didn't heal .
