Late appointment???

I m 5weeks and 5 days today well, according to app. But I dint go to doctors office yet because I dint get appointment. 23rd is my first appointment. Is this ok? Or should I be in a hurry?? I ll be 7 weeks by then

That's fine. I would recommend going to the store and buying some prenatals though. My doctor told me she just wanted to take blood to check levels but I can't go for my ultra sound until I'm 7 weeks.

My doctor's office said they don't see people until 6-8 weeks. Even though I'm considered high risk because I had an unexplained miscarriage at 18 weeks in March, I guess I can't go in any earlier. They also said the first appointment they just do blood tests and the first ultrasound didn't come until the second appointment. So I'll be going in at 6 weeks!!

Most docs see people between 9-12 weeks so you're lucky you're going in early!

I have to wait until the 25th, but the normal woman who "does the appointments" is on maternity leave (😂) and the temp only gets in to this office on Thursdays. But I'll be just shy of 8 weeks and that seems to be the norm as well.

That's not late, it's pretty normal. I scheduled mine at 8 weeks. There's not much to see that early. Usually you only get an earlier appointment if you're high risk or had previous miscarriages. But ever doctors office is different.

That's normal, they only give you an early appoitment if you're high risk so relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

My appointment isn't until Sept 6 when I'm 8 weeks. They just want to wait so the baby is big enough to see and get a heartbeat.
