It doesn't weird me out. What weirds me out is when the room is bloody cold and they expect you not to tense when you have cold ass libe and plastic touching you.

It's literally  a smear of cervical  cells collected and they are evaluated under microscope and lab machines.

Unfortunately  many women's  "issues" are more of a hush hush thing then men's stuff.  If you look at history  you will see how it's been a predominantly  man's world. Fortunately  we have strong women that have fought  for women's rights and women issues are more openly talked about.  Girls used to be shamed for talking about their privates even in a health care sense.  It used to be very forbided.

It's based on how it's analyzed. And it's not bad at all. If your 21 you need one every 3 years to screen for cervical cancer.
