Unless there was a issue with money or work I would be mad. Making an effort is important, not getting anything for someone's birthday just seems to me like they don't care. It's not hard to just get someone their favourite chocolate and a bottle of wine if it comes to it!

I would if he did not remember at all. Sometimes I get gifts from my hubby, sometimes he is just too overworked. But he remembers and he is a good man. That is the beat gift for me 😊

My SO didn't even remember to get a card this year but he took me to a nice dinner. 2 days later I found out I was pregnant & a week later he had his birthday, so hey there's our present! 😂

I think it depends on the situation. If you're financially strapped, if you've been generous with gifts to the partner who is not, etc.

My EX-husband didn't even remember when my birthday was, and it was literally the day after his. My husband now always does something really nice for me but I couldn't afford to do anything nice for him so I baked him a cake and he was still happy with it.

I didn't ask for anything.. We just had a really nice dinner out. Plus I was pregnant and tired so it didn't really matter to me.. I didn't get him anything for his bday after a couple months 😂 im planning to still take him out some where but due to his job it's hard to find the time..

Depends, if he did something sweet like prepare dinner or clean the house then no. If he totally blew it off then yeah I would annoyed.
