How to help him through this...
My fiancé found out last night that his mom has Stage 1 cancer. He isn't taking it well. We live 700 miles away from her, but they've always been REALLY close.
I don't know what to say to him. It absolutely breaks my heart. They caught the cancer early and it's only stage 1, but it's in her lymphnodes and they're afraid that it has spread.
We're moving in December to be closer to her. I have never been in a situation like this, and I don't know how to be supportive.
