Have you ever changed/adjusted your opinion because of something some wrote on here?

I'm just wondering if anyone changed their mind or adjusted their views based on a post or comment someone wrote on here.

Depends on if they can validate their post without insulting someone for their difference in opinions.

If I have an educated opinion about something, I'm not going I change it simply because one person says something on a stupid app. My opinions are formed from intellect and research.

I used to think Mormon people were crazy lol. Then I actually spoke to a member of the LDS church on here, and she helped me to understand a little bit more about the religion. I may not agree with everything and I still may not understand all of it, but I certainly respect it a lot more.

If someone can prove to me through factual evidence that the way I've been thinking is incorrect, I will most certainly change my opinion. Being open to understanding things in a new light is how one gains intellect, compassion, wisdom and understanding. If ones mind is closed to change they will never grow or evolve and their stagnation will prove detrimental. The human race will only live on if the majority are open to an evolution in their understanding and enlightenment through humility and diligent research. It is entirely okay to be wrong and it is a beautiful thing to admit it and welcome in a new way of thinking.

Yes I did with the same sexed fairy tale poll on here, at first I was extreme about it, but then some girls on here was saying their side, I started to think about society and how we live now and my mind changed, so some people can change your mind, x

I've learned some things. For example, I didn't comment on the teaching-toddlers-body-part-names post, but I learned some stuff from reading others' comments on it. I had never realized the implications (regarding pedophilia/molestation) of teaching children the correct body-parts vocabulary.
