Is it wrong for me to not want my boyfriend to go to a party alone? We had some issue in the beginning of our relationship but we resolved them and are Enganged now. His friends always want to take him to parties without me and I always make him stay is that wrong?

The thing that's weird to me about this scenario is that you going with him doesn't seem to be an option. My husband considers it a given that social invitations are for both of us, even early in our relationship. (Unless of course it's a girls/guys specific thing, but that's rare.) Has your fiancé spoken to his friends about this?

If you are past the issues then why is it an issue for him to go? If it's still problem then maybe you haven't dealt with the issues. Why be with him if you don't trust him at this stage of being engaged? And why don't you go with?

It just depends on stuff my bf doesn't let me cause he knows I can't handle my drinks so I have to have a friend he has deemed safe or him (his close friend got date raped so he is a little protective)

No not at all it's cause you're trying to be protective and care for him but you do want him to have a little space to and free time so you have to trust him when he goes out so he will know that you trust him and not do anything dumb behind your back.
