Formula help!

Michelle

So my LO has been BF until now and now I'm back at work we're having to introduce some formula so I've just brought a tub of powder but looking at the instructions it seems to say the bottle must be made with almost boiling water and fed to baby while warm.

I'm sure I've seen people pull a bottle of water out of a bag add powder and feed baby. My question is can i boil water and leave to cool in bottles (to room temp) and then add powder when needed? And if necessary can it be chilled for a bit before feeding?

I ask because until now I've been feeding on demand and my LO won't cope well with waiting for bottles to cool but also because she prefers to take bottles I've expressed direct from the fridge rather than at room temperature or warmed so not sure how well she'll take a bottle of formula if it has to be warm.
