How many days did your newborn cluster feed?

Also, how often afterwards did they cluster feed again? Was the first time the worst? Mine is 11 days old. I'm BF. He's been cluster feeding for 3 days now and I'm so tired last night was the worst

My son started cluster feeding on his 3rd day and it last for a few days. The worst cluster feed for us was week 3. He went a full week of cluster feeding and I almost quit right then and there! I'm so glad I didn't though, we are almost 5 months strong now. It's really hard the first 6 weeks because they can have multiple growth spurts! Just hang in there mama!

Some tips I have are:
- Keep hydrated
- Coconut oil/lanolin cream mix
- Baby to breast is the best ( This is for those who think they have a low supply. When baby drinks your body knows to make more milk. 5+ dirty/wet diapers a day and weight gain indicate a great supply. If in doubt seek help from a lactation consultant near you!)
