When to test???

My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 months now. Usually, AF is always on time on the 19th of every month without fail. However, the past two months, AF has arrived on the 11th and has been shorter and lighter than usual. So my glow cycle said I was supposed to start on the 9th, and I haven't. Should I go ahead and test or should I wait since AF has been irregular lately??
