Caffiene intake during pregnancy?

I haven't had my first doctors appointment yet and I have so many questions that need answered.  I drink a cup of coffee every morning. Is that safe? Should I cut out all coffee together? How much caffiene should a pregnant person have a day? I fear having a miscarriage.

I personally gave up coffee when I was TTC. I started drinking hot tea instead, until I realized that my baby must not like tea and it started making a re-appearance..... So now I drink hot chocolate in the mornings! Lol But seriously, 1 cup of coffee should NOT interfere with anything! They usually want you to cut down if you drink 3+ cups a day, but only 1 should be ok!

I cut caffeine out completely in the month leading to my BFP (I was TTC and so didn't want it to affect my chances)

I don't drink much caffeine because it makes migraines worse and I get them very badly. I continued to drink caffeine because of my migraines and my dr suggested I have tea or half a cup of coke when my migraines kick in. You can drink caffeine in small amounts as long as you don't go oer board. Just ask your dr cuz you could have medical issues that we don't know about that only your dr will know about.
