HSG????

hi ladies
Ttc#1 for 2yrs
23yrs old.

Just wanted too know who here had an hsg test done..

Was it painful?
And did you conceive after getting this test done?

Im getting one done on tuesday..praying that everything turns out fine.

I just had it done last week. Being completely honest, take an Advil two hrs prior to testing just in case you feel pain. Other than that it's smooth sailing. Good luck!

I had mine early July. I didn't get pregnant that month but my ovulation was off and I didn't ovulate until cd28.

I'm going in for an ultrasound Monday to see
If my follicles are ready to be triggered (I'm on Femera this month)

The HSG was uncomfortable but very short term. They cath your cervix with a small tube then push due through, since it's going against your body's natural direction, it causes some discomfort. The dye part only took like 10 seconds though and when they stop, the discomfort stops. You will get to see your results right away on the screen next to you.

I had mine in May of this year-- it was painful for me but once they stop pushing the dye and took the catheter out I was fine-- and I conceived in August- so it took 3 months, but unfortunately ended due to a blighted ovum

I had one in may! For me it was super painfull but it didn't last very long. I've heard other women saying it didn't hurt at all, so maybe I just got unlucky. When are you having the procedure done?
