Hospital bag?

Question

When did you have your hospital bag ready?

I'm just about to be 30 weeks but...
-I don't want to put a bunch of stuff in there that I might just have to pull back out
-Feel like I'm just being too anxious (I've had some friends deliver 32/34 weeks)
-Haven't had my shower yet (it's on September 17) so I don't have a lot of the stuff I will need anyway.

Should I just get to the stuff I already have together? 
Am I just stressing too much? Lol

If it's your first kid, I wouldn't worry too much. You'll probably go full term unless the doctor has told you otherwise.

I would pack closer to your date, maybe at 35 or 36 weeks.

I also would leave out your chargers and toiletries, unless you want to get doubles of stuff. Which, you can always use extra toiletries and chargers.

You could always pack you and the baby's going home outfits, undies, robe, slippers,  shower shoes, extra pads, and whatever the docs recommend for recovery items (normally it's witch hazel pads and dermaplast spray).

I literally only used my going home clothes, her going home clothes, and our various chargers. I didn't need 99 percent of everything the websites tell you to pack. We were only in the hospital 24 hours and I labored for 7, so your mileage may vary.

I pack around 28weeks m. Just in case of by thing I am ready. I also like that it is checked of my list. But don't bring a thousand changes of clothes. You will not be there that long

For my first two I packed the necessities (baby's outfit was hanging in the closet right by bag so I could toss it in) around 32 weeks (thank god cuz my second came early) and just added what was needed when the time came (kept the important but not necessary things close by such as chargers and snacks things like that)

Sweats is the only thing I care about since the hospital is cold.

I packed my "hospital only" stuff, like robe, flip flops, and nursing tanks, along with some makeup and toiletry samples I'd been saving and then left a note right on top with things to pack "day of" like charger and contacts and stuff. My Godson was born at 33 weeks so I feel better being ready!
