Tampons ?

Hello ! Okay ladies so this is slightly embarrassing because I'm 22 but  I have NO idea how to use a tampon. I've tried and I couldn't do it, I'm also very scared, could it be because I'm a virgin ? Am I the only one that had this problem?

I'm 21 and I just used my first tampon last month. Super scared at first but easy when I got the hang of it. I prefer to keep using pads though.

You need to relax. When your scared, your muscles tense up more. Insert the applicator and push the stick part. If you still have problems, I recommend a Diva Cup! It's the greatest thing ever made!

DON'T WORRY! THAT WAS ME!! I became a lifeguard so pads were out of the question. It was tampon or bust. It doesn't hurt once it's in and I end up forgetting about it. Plunge and go. xD

I had a similar problem and I'm 18. Struggled until very recently. What really helped me was learning my angles and how my body curved. Try sticking your finger up there and learn how you are angled. Once you've learned that tampons are so much easier!! Also I've found it helps to tilt your hips slightly forward if you're standing it makes the insertion easier. Also you'll read everywhere that you won't feel it at all which isn't always true. I'm a smaller sized person, and thin. So even if it's pushed into the correct position you may still feel it. I always feel mine but they don't hurt. Just definitely can tell they are there. Just keep pushing until it won't go any further. Tampons with applicators are easier for me because you don't have to try and figure how high the tampon goes. Best of luck!!
