Free Breast Pump 100% Insurance Covered
Just wanted to post to let you all know that you can get a free breast pump that is covered by your insurance. I have Aetna and I just have to provide a prescription from my doctor. Glad I researched it before digging out my old pump. I planned to reuse it and just get new tubes. Now I can keep one at home and one at work.
Apparently, they are covered by the Affordable Care Act. I just called the number on the back of my card and they directed me to their website with a list of medical suppliers. I am getting the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. I was told that the type or brands available depends on your insurance. I had the option of upgrading to the Medela pump with the tote or backpack for an additional fee.
