Induced??

Question

Did anyone have to be induced or was asked if they wanted to be induced after being 4cm dilated for a week?? I won't know if I've progressed or not until my doctors appointment Wednesday I'm just curious

I was scheduled to be induced when I was 1.5cm dialated . And everyone told me to just do it natural but I couldn't wait . So The night of my induction I got up to get ready and wake everyone  to go to the hospital and then my water broke ! 
I was gonna go thur with it . I heard if your ready to have the baby then being induced won't be so bad . Don't let people scare you saying it makes contractions worse cause honestly contractions are horrible in the first place !
