If you knew something was stolen would you buy it?

Meaning you just know that the product being sold was stolen n is being resold would you purchase the item? If it was a great price?

If you knowingly buy something that is stolen it is a crime. Theft by receiving stolen property.

I actually would. Under one condition though. I would purchase it, and then turn t into the police with my receipt and the name of the person I bought it from. This way I guarantee it gets returned to he rightful owner, and I help bring justice for the person it was taken from.

As someone whose house was broken into a few months ago and had everything of value tsken, I could never! It sickens me to think that there are people in this world who victimize innocent strangers. I told my husband that I hoped they saw my framed ultrasound picture and the few baby things we had sitting around at the time and realized who they did this to.

Not worth the risk to me, if you get caught having it you can get charged with handling stolen goods unless you have proof you didn't know it was stolen...

My sister was sold a stero deck for her car that was stolen & she got in serious trouble until the police realized she was innocent. I suggest buying it first hand from the store by yourself.
