What clothing did you wear when you left the hospital?

What clothing did you wear when you left the hospital? How did your body look after the first couple days after giving birth? Trying to pack my hospital bag with the appropriate size clothing. I am 5'7 and was 125lbs pre pregnancy and I am now around 155lb at 33 weeks pregnant. Not sure what to expect..

Sweats and a hoodie most likely. With my daughter I wore yoga pants and I t-shirt because it was summer time. The more comfortable the better

I've got some black stretchy pants that have a little belly band. Very comfy. I can still wear them at 32 weeks even though I had them before pregnancy. And a stretchy shirt that will be long enough. I'm going for comfort after baby comes. My last 2 babies, I could have walked out in pre pregnancy clothes if I'd wanted to. Lost lots of water. Plan to be the size you were around 5 ish months without the big belly

I wore maternity (underbelly) leggings, a long nursing tank top and a long flowy cardigan home from the hospital. Your belly will still be pretty big so don't expect to wear normal pants home. My belly still looked around 5 months with both of my children.

I had a pair of black maternity pants that I wore when I was 5 months pregnant, so I just packed those because my OBGYN says most women will go down to about the size they were around 6 months. I lost weight my entire pregnancy and weighed less leaving the hospital than I did when I first found out I was expecting, so those pants were so comfy and still form fitting enough to help keep my mesh underwear and pads in check, cause I live an hour away from the hospital. As for the shirt, I just wore a shirt I wore during pregnancy so it'd be fairly loose and comfy too.

Most women still look about 6 months pregnant after giving birth.  When I left the hospital I was wearing a big comfy shirt and sweats.

I read that you will likely be about the size you were at 6 months pregnant. For me, I'm packing leggings and a tunic. Then it will fit no matter what!
