Going away gift ..

I met this guy and we've hit it off kissed a few times when we see one another and act like a couple , We've both acknowledged our feelings for one another  but the thing is.. He's going back to Brazil for a year and a half and i want to get him something but I don't know what to get him as a going away present or what to write on either the card or wrapping paper , we have so much in common and even have similar personalities.. And I really like him.
