Just something I wish I realized and believed before my son came along... Breastfeeding is hard work, but amazing. And the first two weeks are hard, your nipples hurt, your boobs are sore, babies cluster feed and you spend hours, like sometimes 10 hours a day breastfeeding. You're worried about your supply and your let down, but after a few weeks your nipples aren't chapped, your boobs have regulated and don't hurt so bad. It gets so much better!! So don't be discouraged! But DO seek help with your hospital, pediatricians, lactation specialist. It's very helpful and I still bring a list of breastfeeding questions to my sons dr appts.
