Getting pregnant right after joining a new job, good or bad idea?

I recently joined a full time job in a reputed company a month ago.i am 27, and I seriously want to TTC, but is it a good idea to get pregnant just after joining a job?my husband says we wait for 4 or 5 months.
 What are your thoughts?

I mean it takes 9 months to give birth, and job cant just discriminate, and even if u chose to ttc now doesnt mean it may happen right away but it can its up to you hun

You might not qualify for maternity leave, and if you request time, they can fire you as long as they don't directly say it's because you're pregnant.

If you are planning on staying out on maternity leave you might want to look at their policy. Most companies won't give you time off until you have been there a year and have worked a certain number of hours

A lot of places won't give you maternity leave until you've been there a year so I would definitely find that out then decide.

It can take awhile to become pregnant. I'd hate to have waited for 4-5 months and then not get a BFP for another 4-5 months on top of it. You're already hired. I actually got pregnant the DAY before I started my new job as an L&D nurse haha.
Granted, we are pretty family/pregnancy friendly around here... It all turned out ok. And I'm 23 weeks now.
