Am I in labor???

I'm 39 weeks 2 days and I've been getting what I believe are contractions every 3-5 min for the past three hours.. Some pains are worse than others. I feel a lot of pressure and I keep getting the urge to push and my hips hurt as if my bones are starting to spread. I haven't lost my mucus plug and I was only at 1.5 cm last week

You can be, the 1.5cm of last week is irrelevant. You can go from 1 to 10 in hours. Call your hospital and go and get checked, better safe than sorry. Good luck x

I'm dealing with the same things but I'm not sure if this is the start of labor or not and my doctor is two hours away so I don't want to do anything until I'm sure. I have an appointment on Wednesday but hoping I don't make it because we are actually in labor :) keep us posted!
