Twins??

Question

My great grandmother had a twin sister... I think they were identical but I'm not completely sure. Is there any chance that I could get twins? I hear they skip generations but it's been a few! I've always kind of wanted twins :-) Does anyone know if they tend to run on the mother or father's side?

Twins only run on the mothers side... Either the egg splits (identical) or2 eggs decend (fraternal) those are the only ways twins are made naturally of course

Twins are only genetic if they are fraternal (not identical). Identical twins are completely random. Good luck!

I've got uncles and cousins that are twins, I'm a twin, and 2 of my sister's have twins. I don't believe they skip a generation.
