Help !!

So I just need some advice as I'm very confused and wondering if anyone else has experienced this, I have being ttc for 9 months now and I was hoping this month would be the one. I was due on my period on the 9th of August however I didn't come on. Days past and at 4am on Saturday 14th August I woke up with excruciating cramp pains from my belly and my back, the cramping stopped a few hours later but I was bleeding heavily for around 2 days. I stopped bleeding late last night and have not had anymore blood. What is going on??
