Is 28 weeks too early for baby shower?

We're planning to have a shower in mid October to avoid the holidays, but now I'm worried I won't be "big enough" for a shower. Thoughts?

No, it is perfect. You get the showers out of the way early so you know what you will need in time before the baby comes.

I think you'll be fine maybe not huge like some shower pics but you'll have fun and atleast the baby wont come during the shower like my brother did :) plus some girls stay small for the whole pregnancy so just have fun!!

I had my first shower this past weekend and I was only 20 weeks lol. I say have one whenever you feel comfortable.

I'm having mine at 24 weeks! It's just the timing that works best with everyone and avoids holidays. Just because most people have there's later doesn't mean it needs to be done that way always. Have fun momma and have you shower whenever works for you! :)

That's when I'm having mine! I don't want to be uncomfortable and huge like with my first one. This was I'm also able to see if I need anything before its crunch time :)

That's when I'm having mine, I don't think it's too early! Although me baby shower is going to be more of Halloween party where people can just drop baby gifts off if they want. My husband and I love Halloween 😂🎃

I feel pretty big already- we are having a joint party with my SIL who will be 26 weeks and I will be 19 and I feel like we look about the same. I have seen women from my law school class who are all due in October who looked tiny at their showers and they were 7-8 months. I think it's worth it just to have time to buy more stuff and get ready when you have energy and don't have holidays to worry about.

Mine is October 16th, but we're doing it early to both avoid the holidays and because I'm having twins.  I'll be 25w4d.
