Silent Reflux/ Zantac

So my baby is extremely gasy and fussy (not all the time, but after feedings) and at night he grunts a lot. He also makes a lot of gagging noises and now does this thing where is starts chocking and stops breathing in his sleep. It's absolutely terrifying. We met with an ENT today and he our him on Zantac. Has anyone else experienced these issues and been put in these meds? Did you notice a difference?
