over feeding?

My baby has been going through what I thought was a growth spurt. She's been very fussy, nearly inconsolable, and the only thing that calms her is nursing. She's been eating nearly every hour or two, but spitting up a ton. So she must be over eating, right? What can I do? I can't calm her without the boob :(

Do you use pacifiers? If not, i recommend it. My little one used me as her soothing mechanism until I introduced one. It has worked well.

My little one spits up a lot and always seems to want the boob. I found her fussiness is generally caused by gas, not necessarily hunger. She demands boob to fall asleep though. She's 19 days old.

She may have an issue with something you're eating, maybe even a lactose intolerance?

How old is she? My LO is a little over a month and went through this around 3 weeks and spit up a lot as well. She literally ate every hour on the hour for a few hours straight the one day. I was exhausted.

It sounds like reflux. Make an apt with the doc :)

I agree sounds like reflux. Especially if she's a fussy spitter.. If she's a happy spitter then it's probably not reflux.
