How do waist trainers work ? and if they are safe?

Well i know how it works, just basically gives you a flat tummy and stuff. BUT does it give you curves too??? Like a booty ?? lol I want to try it but i want you ladies opinions on it. 😊💗

It doesn't give you a booty, but don't use it like how some Instragram models do, they're basically crushing their organs and everything gets messed up inside. A couple people have even died from it, but if you're just trying to have a waist that's like an inch smaller, then that's okay. 
I personally wouldn't recommend going any further than an inch, depending on your bone structure. Just be VERY careful, a lot of people don't use them correctly. I've never tried one, but I'm just saying what my friend experienced. She didn't die, but she DID have to go to the hospital

I just got one not to long ago from Walmart, it's not like those bone crushing corset type waste trainers it's like a spandex feeling and it velcros. I haven't been using it long but I will update on how it works when I see progress!

The "waist trainers" you see on IG don't work like steel boned corsets, where you can actually alter the shape of your waist. IG waist trainers are more like girdles and shapewear like spanx where they use spandex to suck you in. Even with actual steel boned corsets, unless you wear them every day consistently, your waist will return to its natural shape and size. There's a lot of misconception around waist training in general and especially about IG waist trainers because they became such a big trend.
