Hi all, 5w 2d and slight cramps

I know that cramping is usual but how bad can they get and still be a normal part of pregnancy? Mine aren't painful I'm just aware that they are there. A few times they've felt like they could be period pains then settled again. It's my first baby and in terrified of miscarrying.
