PCOS and late positives?

I just read online that PCOS (which there's been talk of me possibly having) can cause negative urine and blood tests up until 3-6 months pregnant. My question is, does anyone know how accurate that is? I keep getting either VVFL or negatives on urine tests and I've had two negative blood tests, but my body is giving me almost every single pregnancy symptom. What gives?

Your situation really intrigues me so I did a little research. Are you still on nexplanon?

If so I've read lots and lots of women who have had the same symptoms of pregnancy while on it. It really does a number on your hormones and can mimic signs of pregnancy (not trying to insinuate you aren't pregnant) and they took pregnancy tests and went to the doc for urine/blood work and everything would be negative.

What my intentions of research was to find out if getting pregnant on nexplanon will stop any confirmation of pregnancy from showing up.  What I found instead was an entire message board of women confused as hell on what's going on with their body. Are they or aren't they pregnant??! Nobody really updated their situation but one and she got off that birth control and her body felt normal again.

You need to talk to your obgyn or whomever put you on that birth control and tell them what's going on. If your in office blood/urine tests are negative you have to be persistent in demanding an ultrasound. Seriously they will tell you no and why you don't need it, they'll say it's unnecessary but you need to be FIRM as hell about getting one. You are the patient and you have the right to demand a procedure/tests (I can't think of a better word) and get one even if a doctor tries to talk you out of it. You have that right! You have that right to find out what's going on. Do not let them dismiss you or downplay what's going on with your body.

So tomorrow make an appt with whomever you need to see about that birth control. If indeed you are pregnant you need to stop the nexplanon ASAP.  If by chance your not, you need an alternate birth control or no birth control at all if you and your fiancé decide to go for the gold.

I was diagnosed at 17, I have it so bad I was told it would be IMPOSSIBLE to have children. I now have 2 daughters and when I became pregnant the tests were always strong and popped up quickly. It's different for everyone, hun. Good luck!

So I'm not alone. I have the same problem. I have been taking tests for five or six weeks now and either get a very very light positive line or there negative. I had a urine test done at the dr a couple days ago and it was negative. Idk what's going on. I go in on Friday hoping they will do an ultrasound to see if I'm preg.

I know someone who never got a positive blood or urine test. Found out she was pregnant at 23 weeks after making them do an ultrasound

Following and also maybe give it another week or so and talk to your dr about getting an ultrasound. When was your last period
