Need genetic advice.

My family has a history of duchennes muscular dystrophy which is a disease passed through a woman's X chromosome to their sons. It basically consumes all quality of life by the time the boy is 13 and most of the time they pass away in their mid 20s or 30s.  My mother only had a slight chance of having a son with the disorder when she had genetic testing. I am currently pregnant and freaking out that I could be a carrier. I do not know what I am having yet, but my husband and I want a son so it is extremely nerve racking. I do not want to raise a child with no quality of life, being able to play and run and the. Have it stripped away to where they can't even feed themselves or use the bathroom without laying in a bed. Can anyone out there give me some peace of mind that I am not a carrier?
